Six years ago, a corporate colony ship, the Dandelion, lit out for a newly acquired exoplanet with 3200 indentured souls aboard.  The safe-return jump pod never arrived back in Sol system.

 

Four years ago, the We Will Find You, a search and rescue outfit based out of Mars, overtuned their jump drive and went looking for answers, and failing that, clear salvage rights.

 

One month ago, you and your team were hired on a contingent-basis tertiary fact-finding contract to follow the original flight plan, collect intel, and report back.  You are traveling aboard the Get Lucky, a decommissioned mining rig, with overtuned jump drives and preprogrammed nav.
